Sergiy and Natalka Bolchuk

We met at the Bible Institute studying Series 2:7. We have been studying together for three years and we both liked to work with people who have problems in life - whether physical disability or addiction to alcohol, drugs, etc.. We fell in love with each other, decided to combine our paths of lives serving God and suffering people together. We married on September 14, 1997.

God prepared many circumstances for us to go through during 11 years of common marriage life. The most difficult situation was a car accident, which led to my wife’s paralysis. This difficult experience of life opened our eyes and heart to people with disabilities. We wanted to share with them great comfort which we have in Christ Jesus.

We have a team of blessed brothers and sisters who proclaim the Gospel of salvation by various methods. The vision of our team is to serve people with disabilities brining them to Christ.

Sergey
I was born in a big Christian family. I heard about God since childhood. I saw faith in action in Mariya Trochymivna, my mother’s live: in her everyday actions, attitudes toward people, at work and everywhere. In the eighth grade I was very ill, almost died. At that time, I thought a lot about life, began to read Bible, listened to Christian radio and as result decided to repent and devote myself to serving the Lord. I became involved in youth ministry.

Currently I am responsible for the Disability Ministry in Fimiam Church. My heart's desire is to bring the Gospel of salvation for people with disabilities and build a rehabilitation complex for these people.

Motto of my life: who trust in God will be renewed in strength.

Natalka
I grew up in a non-christian family. I had a classmate who suggested reading the Bible. Initially I had many doubts. But after reading a book written by Josh McDowell “Evidence that demands a verdict", I received answers and explanation to all my doubts and realized that the word of God is an absolute and unshakable truth: that Jesus Christ is God.

I devoted my life to Christ when I was 14. After repentance I wanted to be where God wanted me and do what pleased Him. In Fimiam Church I am responsible for Disability Ministry, serving people with disabilities. The desire of my heart is to glorify Christ in heaven in a healthy body with all people who suffer from disabilities on earth, whom I share about Christ on earth.

Motto of my life: He who is in us, stronger than one who is in the world.
