Premarital Consultation   Any initiative is successful if planned well. That is the goal of people who counsel future couples. A mentor spends 12 total hours with engaged couples, discussing various topics such as love, marriage, communication, conflict resolution, similarities and differences, needs and roles of husband and wife, relationship with parents, upbringing of children, family budget and spiritual and physical life of a family. It is through such meetings that couples are able to evaluate their readiness for marriage, to discuss similarities and differences between husband and wife and to solidify their choice of a the future spouse. They learn the Biblical principles of marriage. |
