Common baptism in Baptist churches




Fimiam Church, Calvary Church, Salvation Church and Spring of Grace Church conducted baptism on the Styr River, which flows in Lesya Ukrainka Park, on Sunday, June, 27.


It was a holiday for Christians in Lutsk. Twenty-nine people were baptized and eighteen people became members of our church joining God’s covenant.

Hundreds of people were standing on the river bank and witnessed Jesus Christ’s commandment being fulfilled by brothers and sisters in white clothes. God’s grace is boundless. During baptism God gave repentance to people’s hearts.


People worshiped God with musical bands from Fimiam Church and Calvary Church, prayed for those who were baptized and listened about their life walk to Christ. God’s Word was preached reminding people about importance of implementation of God’s commandments.


After baptism, church service was held in “Spartak” center where we worshiped God together with Fimiam band. Pastor gave instructions to new church members; ministers of the church prayed and blessed those who have been baptized. We all had communion and greeted new church members afterwards.




Family meeting took place for ministers of the church, new members of the church and their close friends in the evening. We worshiped God together and had a great time together.
