Contest “Smile has talents”

   
   
   
   

On March, 14 “Smile” children’s club organized “Smile has talents” contest. Smile club functions successfully in Fimiam Church and conducts bible studies for more then 100 children.

   
   
   
   


“It was the first attempt to reveal talents, given to members of Smile club by God” stated Pavlo Boyko, a director of Smile club. – it turned out to be a great holiday for parents and children”. “We hope that such contests will become a good tradition in our club” – stated Nataliya Rudenko, a responsible for children’s ministry in Fimiam Church.

   
   

Forty three children participated in the contest and wanted to show that they were the most talented in their club.

   
   

There were four nominations: 1) crafts – children drew and modeled from plasticine; 2) singing – participants demonstrated vocal abilities; 3) music – children played different musical instruments; 4) recitation – members of Smile club recited poems and prose. Some participates showed their talents in dancing and acrobatics.

   
   

Judges evaluated the participants justly. They expressed their wishes and recommendation for future references in order to develop their God given talents.

   
   

This concert lasted for four hours and was very excited. While judges were counting points, Vlad Zhovklyy and Andriy Kohanets entertained their listeners with their virtuosity in playing an accordion and a xylophone. They proved that one can play really nice being a fourth or fifth year of study student if practicing regularly.

   
   

The winners of “Smile has talents” contest” are: Synyuk Oleksij among artists. He drew the best picture in 20 minutes. Shovkomud Mykhaylo, the youngest participant, was the best among modeling a plasticine. Shynkaruk Tetayna sang her own song. Muzyka Sasha and Boyarchuk Sasha sang a duet. The best musicians were Kondratyuk Dmytro, a xyphone player and Sylchuk Dmytro, a pipe player. Nechyporenko Yana and Stepashyna Vika were the best to recite their own poems. Judges decided to highlight the acrobatic item performed by Konedyuk Ivan.

   
   

Winners received precious presents and rewards. All the participants received a pen with logo of the contest.
